~The same day, Monday night, Gold Coast.
Chung and Yan were going to the police. By now, the police have also realized, the Stanmore family has disappeared and did a press conference, urging anybody that knows anything, to come to the police.
Chung and Yan saw the report, on the night news’ broadcast. Chung suspected Rita’s involvement. He and Yan were going to the police, with this information, believing it would help. Chung and Yan been dating for a little while by now and just a week ago, they moved in together.
Chung and Yan walked out of their apartment together and were walking towards their car, which was parked across the street, to their apartment. Their apartment didn’t have a garage, so they need to park their car, on the street.
“Where are you going?” a voice burst out from behind.
Chung and Yan turned their head around. It was Rita and one of her goons, Frank.
“So, you and Yan have ended up together. I thought so.” Rita said “You remember Frank? He got a bigger score to settle with you.” Rita said
“Who the hell is this guy?” Chung said
“You remember Lucy? Lucy Lovejoy.” Frank asked
“Lucy, I don’t know any Lucy.” Chung replied
“You fucked son of a bitch!” Frank yelled angrily, he charged to attack Chung, Chung jumped backwards and dogged Frank’s punches and threw one spin kick, onto Frank’s stomach, knocking him down.
“Jesus, what is the matter with you?” Chung frowned and said, then he turned his head around and realized Yan has fallen to the ground. Yan doesn’t know how to fight, she tried to protect Chung from Frank’s attack and was been pushed aside by Frank. “Are you alright?” Chung asked
“Yes, I am ok.” Yan replied
“You are going to the police, aren’t you?” Rita asked.
“I don’t know what you are talking about.” Chung replied
“You saw the report on TV.” Rita said
“Did you do it? Did you brainwashed Sam Brown and turned him into your goons? You probably brainwashed this lad, standing next to you too. Am I right?” Chung asked
“You are going to the police. You suspect my involvement.” Rita said
“If you already know the answer, why are you asking the questions?” Chung replied “And what did you promised this lad here?”
Frank gotten back onto his feet and then he went to stand next to Rita. Frank was a man in his early forties, much older than all of Rita’s other goons, who are all in their twenties and thirties.
“Lucy Lovejoy’s happiness” Frank said
“Who the hell is Lucy Lovejoy?” Chung frowned and said confusingly and annoyingly.
“Your ridiculous man, she loved you, she cares about you and she wants the best for you. But you don’t even know that she is alive, no, you wanted Yan and our dear sweet Lucy, become heart broken, she cried in sadness, she would not date anybody else. Just hoping someday, you would notice her. She rather grew old and died along, then not to be with you. And you, you could not even be bothered to know her existence in this world! You don’t deserve her!” Frank yelled angrily, Frank is in love with Lucy
“What the hell are you talking about?” Chung asked
“That twenty years old girl, who work as an office assistant, at the place you work. Her name is Lucy Lovejoy.” Yan quickly explained
“Oh, coffee girl, hmm, she makes great coffee.” Chung said “Oh yes, I set her up, on a blind date with Charlie, how is that? I say they make a great couple.”
“You!” Frank got agitated, he tried to attack Chung again, but Chung grabbed Frank’s arm and threw him back to Rita. “Jesus, what is the matter with this guy?” Chung said
And then Chung realized, this is all Rita’s doing “You did this to him, didn’t you? Frank is in love with Lucy. You used his love towards her, as a tool and turned him into your puppet. That is low even for you, Rita.” Chung said
“I can’t have you talking to the police.” Rita said
“And what is in it for you? What, are you hoping that Lucy will be yours’, after I die? No offense, but even with me dead, Lucy won’t necessary becomes yours.” Chung said, then Chung turned his head towards Yan “But if this Frank guy is telling the truth, somebody has to talk to Lucy, I mean, if Frank is telling the truth, then the way Lucy is, she got a problem. She needs counseling.”
“I know, serious counseling.” Yan said
“That won’t be necessary. With you dead, all problems will be solved.” Frank said
“And what is in it for you?” Chung asked
“Nothing, but do you know how many nights, she comes to my house, crying, upset, heartbroken, because you once again failed to notice her, because you are out with some other girls and not knowing her existence? You don’t deserve her. But me, I am always there for her and I am sick and tire of seen you hurting her again and again and again. No, it ends now and for it to end, is for you to be out of the equation and that is for you to be dead.” Frank said
“And what is in it for you? Your name is Frank, right? Lucy says you are like a father to her.” Chung said
“There is nothing in it for me. I just want Lucy to be happy.” Frank replied, with that, he grabbed out a pistol and opened three shots.
“Watch out!” Yan yelled, she was quick to cover Chung’s body, using herself as a human shield. All three bullets hit Yan.
“No!” Chung cried, he grabbed Yan in his arm. “No, don’t die on me Yan, don’t.” Chung cried
“Kiss me.” Yan replied weakly.
Chung kissed Yan on the lips, softly.
Yan smiled “It is still the best.” Yan said and then she died.
“No!” Chung cried
“You see? Did you ever think about Lucy? No, all you have in your mind is Yan!” Frank said angrily.
Chung got angry. He took a look at Frank and attacked him. Frank’s reflex was slow and as a result, Chung was able to hit him, before he has the opportunity, to raise his gun again.
Chung kicked the gun, out of Frank’s hand and punched him in the stomach, couple of times, knocking him down.
Rita came to reinforce Frank. Rita threw a few punches at Chung, but Chung blocked them all, then Chung threw three kicks and two punches towards Rita, Rita dogged three attacks and blocked the other two. Rita and Chung learned to fight together, as a result, they know each other’s moves, but Chung is still a better fighter then Rita. Rita tried to attack Chung, with a kick, but this time, Chung grabbed Rita’s leg and threw her across the air, then he kicked Rita, before she could land, sending Rita, flying through the air.
Chung landed on his feet and watched as Rita smashed into a car, but he forgotten about Frank, who was behind him. Frank grabbed his pistol and fired two shots towards Chung, from behind, both shots hit. Chung fell to the ground and died.
Rita stayed on the ground, painfully, not able to move for five minutes, then she got back to her feet.
“You know what to do.” Rita said
“Do you think, Lucy would understand, that I am doing this to her benefit?” Frank said
“You did the right thing. Lucy might not understand to begin with, but then she would. She would be grateful for your sacrifice. You did not tell Lucy about it, right?” Rita said
“No, she doesn’t know. She would never approve it.” Frank said
“Ok, you got the suicide note?” Rita said
“Yes” Frank said “I love you, Lucy. “Then he put the pistol into his mouth and fired a bullet into it and died.
“What a pathetic stupid old man. He is so easy to manipulate.” Rita mocked, after seen Frank dead and then she walked back to her car and drove away.

Rita stayed on the ground, painfully, not able to move for five minutes, then she got back to her feet.
“You know what to do.” Rita said
“Do you think, Lucy would understand, that I am doing this to her benefit?” Frank said
“You did the right thing. Lucy might not understand to begin with, but then she would. She would be grateful for your sacrifice. You did not tell Lucy about it, right?” Rita said
