~Two week later 24th June, Friday night, Sydney
It was Friday night, Sam and Hailey were within their apartment, after Sam returns to Sydney today, after spending two weeks up in the Gold Coast.
Like quiet often, when Sam returned to Sydney, he’ll buy Hailey a small gift. This time, it is exactly the same.

Hailey slowly unwrap the gift-wrapping paper. Inside it, there was a Barbie doll. Hailey had a Barbie doll just like this when she was a child, it was a doll Hailey had, as far as she could remember and it was her favor toy as a child, as a child Hailey would brush its hair and make pretty new cloth for it, constantly and that was until one night when his father was a
bit short on cash to buy beer and Hailey was standing in front of the liquor store with her father, with her favor Barbie doll, in one of her hands, when her father snatched it out of her hand and sold it to some random guy for twelve dollars, to buy beer. Hailey cried and as a result, when she got home, she got one of the worse beatings in her life. With her father yelling at her “You little spoil brat, after everything I have been doing for you!” and stuff alike the entire time.
Hailey looked at the Barbie doll that Sam bought for her, it looked exactly the same as the one she had while she was a child.
“I got it off a garage sale on my way back to Sydney. I know this doll cannot replace the one you had as a child, but at least it…it is…” Sam tried think of the right words to say
Hailey smiled “It is perfect.” There was a bit of tear in her eyes “How did you know?” Hailey asked
“You told me about it before, remember?” Sam said
“Thank you.” Hailey said.
Hailey and Sam kissed on the lips and then they made love.
