Chapter Twelve Part 3 of 3

~Two days later, Saturday afternoon, 1 st October, Sydney

Sam lost his job, as a car salesman, apparently, the people that sale Toyota cars at the place Sam work, doesn’t like the idea of working with Sam, after his speech about how he would slap Hailey if she doesn’t love him on the bus a few days ago, nor did they like how he acted towards Eric on the bus, in fact, they doesn’t like any aspect of Sam’s aggressive nature and they found some lame excuse to fire Sam, the very next day.

So now, Sam is unemployed again and he doesn’t really understand, why he gotten fired, from been a car salesman.

Sam was not in a very good mood, for loosing another job again and the fact that Nichole had officially kicked Sam out of the house, which they live together, as a married couple, putted him into an even worse mood. Sam hasn’t been back to the Gold Coast, for over a week now, because there is no point, he has been staying here with Hailey instead.

Sam grew up in a family, where he was not been loved. Sam’s father was been forced into a marriage with Sam’s mother, after one night of drunken hook up, while they were in high school. Sam’s father might have become a successful businessman eventually, but one of the main reasons he became so successful, is because he use work, as an excuse, to get away from his mother. Sam’s father cheated on his mother constantly with prostitutes and mistresses and he dislike Sam a lot. Neither Sam’s father nor his mother wanted him. By the time that Sam is five years old, his parents got a divorce and both married somebody else and once they each have children of their own, Sam pretty much become invisible.

Lack of love from home, Sam started hanging out with the wrong crowd that make him felt accepted, as a family, during his teen. In a lot of ways, the acceptance he gain from hanging with this group of trouble making youth, was more important to him, then the self-destructing behaviour that he gain via been with them and at the age of fourteen years old, Sam was been thrown in jail for two years.

As an adult, Sam is not the most attractive looking person either. He is not the type of guy that girls are interest in and it is probably as a result of this, further encouragement by the fact that he was an unloved child, while growing up, that Sam started to try seek for recognition, for something he doesn’t have. That is, he seek to be recognize for been a person, who can get beautiful girls to be totally and madly in love with him and can’t live without him and he would do anything, to gain that recognition and when Sam saw Hailey, he knows he can manipulate her, to help him gain the recognition. Sam knows Hailey is an innocent girl, who dream of been a fairy-tale princess, with a prince charming coming to her and sweeping her off her feet, he knows Hailey believes that true love and true happiness, is a romantic relationship that is very romantic. He knows that Hailey believe there is a formula in life that she have to follow and that formula of life, involve the necessity of been a heterosexual relationship and he also knows that Hailey has low self-esteem and only believe she deserve a substandard male.

As a result, Sam knows that, as long as he is able to present Hailey with an illusion, of him been a prince charming, sweeping her off her feet, that he continue to be romantic to Hailey, that she continue to obsessively believe true love and true happiness is a very romantic heterosexual relationship, that she continue to obsessively want to be in a relationship with a prince charming, which comes to her and sweep her off her feet, that she continue to believe that there is a formula of life and the formula included the necessity of having a man in her life and that she continue to believe that she only deserve a substandard male, he would be able to have her and keep her for as long as he want, if he wants her and as a result that and the fact that Hailey is totally knock out hot, Sam decided to take Hailey as his, through these methods, so he can use Hailey as a symbol, for him to be recognized as person, who can get a beautiful girl and keep her totally in love with him and can’t live without him.

Things might be better, if Sam actually loves Hailey, but he doesn’t and he doesn’t care for her. Sam knows what he is doing to Hailey, is both selfish and not good, but he doesn’t care, he is far too obsessively in love with the recognition he want and is gaining from this relationship.

Hailey decided not to abort the baby. She doesn’t want to abort the baby, nor is she capable of putting herself through doing it. Hailey decided that aborting the baby is one sacrifice she cannot make, to keep this relationship together. Instead, she decided to try finding a way, to convince Sam to want this baby. Hailey still believe that Sam loves her, cares about her and she is Sam’s one and only one true love and she believe as long as she is Sam’s one true love, she could change his mind

Hailey know Sam was not in a great mood right now and that might mean it was not the best time, for her to try to convince Sam. But she still believes that she need to try, at least by trying to get Sam into a better mood first, then try to bring up this conversation, of keeping the baby. Hailey believe that sex is a good weapon. Sam love having sex with her and Hailey knows it, she wants to use this to her advantage. If Hailey was not so resistance to the truth and refuse to believe in anything otherwise to what she wants to believe in, she would have realized that Sam doesn’t love her, he love having sex with her, but he doesn’t love her and he doesn’t care about her either. After all, lust do not necessary means love.

So, right now, Hailey and Sam were naked within their apartment in Sydney, in their bed, together. They were having sex. A few minutes later, it was over. Sam turned around and lied down next to Hailey, he was originally upon her. Hailey lied upon Sam’s chest. The two of them, just lied there, for a little while and enjoy the peace and quiet.

“Do you want to do it again, baby?” Hailey asked

“I need backup.” Sam replied. They’ve done it three times already, this afternoon.

The two of them lied there quietly for a few minutes and didn’t say anything.

“Have you gotten rid of the baby yet?” Sam asked

“I went to have another check-up, with the doctor today. It is a little boy.” Hailey said

“I know there is an abortion client. I found it on the internet. It is highly reputable. I think we should go there.” Sam replied.

“I don’t think I can do it.” Hailey whispered. Her eyes were red with tears.

“What do you mean you can’t do it?” Sam asked

“I don’t think I can get rid of the baby. I want to keep the baby.” Hailey said

“Is that why, you didn’t go to get an abortion yet? I thought I told you to get rid of that shit!” Sam sat up on the bed and said angrily, loudly.

“What is the matter with you? This is our baby. This is our child” Hailey said, she sat up too.

“Get rid of it. That is final.” Sam said angrily

“Sam…” Hailey started, she is not planning to get rid of the baby. She still can’t do it, she loves this child too much, to be able to do it, but she still find it difficult, to leave this relationship with Sam

“For crying out loud, what is the problem with you? Why are you acting selfish? Did you ever thought about anybody else, but yourself?” Sam said angrily

“He is our child. What is the problem with you?” Hailey said, she was crying

“What the fuck are you crying for?” Sam said angrily, he heavily punched Hailey on the face. Hailey failed off the bed and down to ground, there was a big bruise upon Hailey’s face.

Sam walked off the bed and grabbed Hailey to her feet and then he slapped Hailey across the face again. “When I say something, you do it, you understand?!” Sam yelled angrily, as he continues to slap Hailey across the face multiple times and then he punched Hailey on the face twice, he punched her so hard that Hailey fell to the ground again.

Sam putted his cloth back on and angrily stormed out of the house, leaving Hailey behind, slamming the door shut, on his way out.

A few minutes later, Hailey got back onto her feet slowly. She sat down onto the bed and burst into tears.

She reached for her phone and called Chan’s number, to ask for advice, but the truth is that, what Hailey really wanted, was to have somebody to talk to. She just wanted to tell somebody she trusts, about her problems, so she could have the courage to continue on within this relationship. Hailey dialled Chan’s number

Chan’s cell phone ringed. Chan was inside a restaurant, with Tang. Sitting beside Tang was a pair of very hot sisters that Tang managed to pick up, just a few minutes ago, within the restaurant, the first one has blond hair and blue eyes and the other one is a brunet with green eyes. Tang had his left arm around the older sister and his right arm around the younger sister.

Chan took a look at his cell phone and then put it back into his pocket again.

“Aren’t you going to answer that?” Tang asked

“It is Hailey again. Probably some problems with her toy boy again.” Chan said.

Chan did not answer his phone.

“The number you have dialled is currently unavailable, please try again later.” The voice passed out of Hailey’s phone, as a result.

Hailey hanged up her phone and just continued to cry, beside the bed.
